If you are a parent applying for admission of your child to a kindergarten or primary school for 2021/2022, remember that it is not enough to just submit an application to selected institutions. Parents, who filled in an online application or submitted it on paper, should check the recruitment results and confirm the will to enroll the child in the chosen facility.
Lists of admitted and not admitted candidates were published by schools and kindergartens on April 23, 2021.
The will to enroll in the institution where the child has been admitted should be reported by April 29 (4:00 p.m.).
How to get things done
You can check your child’s admission status in the online recruitment system, after logging into the candidate’s account:
primary schools – podstawowe.edukacja.warszawa.pl
kindergartens – przedszkola.edukacja.warszawa.pl
If the child has been qualified for admission, the will to enroll in the selected institution should be confirmed. To do this, click the „Potwierdź wolę zapisu w placówce” („Confirm willingness to enroll in the facility”) button. That’s all! Electronic confirmation is sufficient.
However, if you cannot submit the confirmation electronically, fill in the confirmation of the will to enroll and deliver it to the facility where your child has been admitted.
Important! If you do not confirm your will to enroll the child, it will be considered a resignation from the place.
However, you do not need to confirm the will to enroll your kid, if you applied for his/her admission to the district school (szkoła obwodowa) only and got in. In such a situation the system will confirm it automatically.
