The Ocalenie Foundation helps refugees and migrants start a new life in Poland.
We run Help Centers for Foreigners in Warsaw and Łomża, where one can get multilingual support with various matters: filling out documents, looking for a flat, registering a child to school, signing up for a doctor appointment or writing a CV. We also run Polish courses, mentoring and educational programs for refugee children, integration programs for refugees. We provide material assistance to people in need. We also offer specialist support – legal and psychological.
In 2020, the situation of people we support: asylum seekers, refugees and migrants living in Poland, became particularly difficult. Many of our clients lost their jobs and livelihoods. The crisis was visible both in the avalanche increase in the number of consultations we provide (46% more than in 2019), and in the nature of problems faced by our clients. Overall, we were able to provide assistance to 2321 people.

How to donate 1% of your tax to the Ocalenie Foundation?
From 2019, it’s the Polish tax office who prepares PIT-37 or PIT-38 for you. Everyone who pays tax has the opportunity to view the prepared statement, check if it is correct and make changes – among others, indicate applicable tax exemptions and decide which public benefit organization to support by transferring 1% of tax. The Ocalenie Foundation is one of such organizations.
To view your e-PIT, log in at www.podatki.gov.pl. Detailed information on how to make changes to your declaration can be found in the guide from the Ministry of Finance.

- Select the KRS number of the Ocalenie Foundation: 0000030279 from the list;
- You don’t have to indicate a specific goal – trust us, we know what help is needed most;
- If you want, please agree to give us information about who you are – we really want to know you!
- After making changes, click „zatwierdź”/”approve”.
